Mesotherapy with 'Elastence' or 'Vital'
What is Mesotherapy?
Mesotherapy is a new and innovative skin rejuvenation treatment to restore skin hydration, tone, and elasticity. It helps to slow down the ageing process by topping up our levels of hyaluronic acid and preventing the formation of lines and wrinkles, helping us to delay the signs of ageing. It can be used effectively in the areas illustrated below.

What Is Hyaluronic Acid?
Hyaluronic acid is a natural sugar found in all living cells that attracts and binds water, hydrating the skin and giving it volume. Hyaluronic acid also affects some of the other components of skin structure such as collagen and elastin, aswell as the function of skin cells. In these ways, hyaluronic acid is very important in maintaining the structure and function of young skin, helping it to look healthy, feel smooth and supple.
Young skin contains large amounts of hyaluronic acid and as we get older the levels of hyaluronic acid diminish. This contributes to loss of skin hydration, skin thinning, wrinkle formation and the decreased ability of the skin to restore itself.
What Does The Treatment Involve?
A topical anaesthetic is first applied to the area to be treated. Multiple superficial punctures are made in a grid like fashion to deposit tiny droplets of pure hyaluronic acid , into the skin. Initially the treated area will have tiny 'lumps' which settle completely after one to two days when the hyaluronic acid settles into the skin.
